The Opticon Dreamer is a must-have piece of equipment for every nights sky lover. It can be used to not only admire the planets, the Moon and passing comets, but also nebulae, star clusters and distant galaxies. The Opticon Dreamer may be your very first reflecting telescope due to it’s ease of use, and it will work well even in observations conducted from your home.
Reflector telescope for beginner astronomers
The Dreamer is a reflector telescope, which is more difficult to use than a standard refractor telescope, but the method of assembly makes it very easy to operate. Beginner astronomy enthusiasts – both the older and the younger ones – can easily operate it.
The most important telescope parameters
The optical system of the telescope is made up of an eyepiece and a mirror. The diameter of the mirror is 80 mm, focal length 500 mm, so it is a very compact reflector telescope model. It takes up little space and it can be placed on a window or balcony to carry out observations from the comfort of your home. The telescope lens is also large enough to capture the light from the largest, brightest and most fascinating objects in our solar system, and then present it in the form of a bright and quality image.
View planets, stars and galaxies
Both the diameter of the telescope and the magnification of the image that can be obtained with the device affect how many details of the object you will be able to see with it. Both the diameter and the image magnification of the telescope can be set in such a way to obtain the most detailed image. Saturn’s rings or Jupiter’s moons will also be more visible. Especially when using the additional filters that are responsible for improving the contrast in the image.
Replace accessories and increase the telescopes capabilities
The Opticon telescopecomes equipped with the most relevant mechanisms and elements, but you can replace some of them and change it’s parameters. Dreamer has been designed to be compatible with accessories in the 1.25″ standard, so components from much larger and more expensive telescopes fit into the device. Thanks to this, you can improve the parameters of the telescope and make it also work for more advanced observations, while still remaining compact and easy to use.
Simple installation
The Opticon telescope is mounted on the durable and stable Dobson type base. As a result, it does not take up too much space and can be placed even in small rooms. This is a great solution for those of you who don’t have the room for a full-sized telescope at their home. The base also makes it easier to operate it directly during observation.
Along with the Opticon Dreamer telescope, you also receive additional accessories that make observations easier and more satisfying. The finderscope will assist you with finding any given fragment of the sky faster. You can also determine the location of planets and stars using the map of the solar system – it has also been included with the Dreamer telescope. In addition, you also receive computer programs, movies, 3D glasses, guides and a richly illustrated book “Szlakiem gwiazd” With such a setup, you can immediately start learning about the secrets of the cosmos.
All Opticon telescopes are tested by professionals and covered by a full two-year warranty from the manufacturer.
